1. How do I choose the size?
Choose based on your height and weight.
Refer to the Size Guide for detailed measurements.
Hemp may shrink slightly depending on how you wash it, so factor that in when choosing your size.
We do not offer size exchanges.
If you’re unsure, reach out before ordering.
2. What if I’m between sizes?
Base your decision on your body type and how you plan to wash it.
- Longer arms or legs → size up for length
- Planning to use a dryer → size up slightly to account for shrinkage
- Otherwise → follow the Size Guide range
3. How much does it shrink?
Some shrinkage can happen during the first few washes.
- Cold wash → minimal change
- Hot water / dryer → more shrinkage
Shrinkage can reach up to around 3%.
We recommend washing 2–3 times to settle the size.
4. How should I care for the gi?
Wash normally.
- You can use a dryer early on to set the size
- Once the fit feels right → air dry going forward
- Avoid repeated high heat to maintain shape
It may feel slightly firm at first, but softens with use and washing.
5. How is it different from cotton gis?
Hemp is structurally stronger than cotton and holds up better when wet.
- Less shape loss over time
- Handles repeated washing and training well
- Dries faster and holds less odor
6. Can it be worn in summer?
Yes.
Hemp absorbs and releases moisture quickly, so it doesn’t stay damp for long.
It tends to feel less heavy during training, even in heat.
That said, comfort will vary depending on environment and personal preference.
7. Can it be used in competition?
Depends on the event rules.
- Black has passed gi checks and has been used in competition
- Color may change over time, so check regulations beforehand
- Natural white may not meet standard white requirements → not recommended for competition
This is not a lightweight competition gi. It’s built for training.
8. Why hemp?
We chose materials based on what holds up to repeated training.
Hemp met that standard.

9. When will my order ship?
Orders are processed on business days (Monday–Friday).
Most orders ship within 2 business days after payment confirmation.
10. How long does shipping take?
Delivery times vary depending on location (estimated: 1–3 days after dispatch).
Delays may occur due to weather or carrier conditions.

11. Do you ship internationally?
Yes.
Available countries and delivery times are shown at checkout.
Shipping rates and delivery times vary by region.
Import duties and taxes may apply and are the customer’s responsibility.
12. Returns
We do not offer size exchanges.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused and unworn items only.
Please contact us by email before returning any item.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective or sent in error.
